Child & Family Since 1809, a Wil Bradford video

The Child & Family Agency of Southeastern Connecticut assists children and families-at-risk.

Our programs deal with the prevention of child abuse, the treatment of family violence, teen pregnancy, children’s health care, childcare, parent education and children's mental health.

Last year over 17,000 children  and their families in 79 towns were assisted by our staff of 172 dedicated professionals.

Child & Family Agency is the largest, private, non-profit children's service provider in southeastern Connecticut. The agency has an annual operating budget of over $10 million and funds 28 service centers.

With a heritage dating from 1809, our social service programs are funded by individuals, state departments, federal agencies, civic organizations, foundations and United Ways.

Each year 600 auxiliary members generously volunteer their time and talent caring for children, supporting fundraising events and participating in education services. New auxiliary members and donors are always welcome.

Child & Family Agency programs are available to all residents of New Haven, Middlesex and New London counties. Fees for service reflect our costs. A sliding fee scale assures that no one will be excluded or refused assistance for financial reasons.
