Directions

From New Haven and South

I-95 North – Take Exit 83. There is a traffic light at end of ramp. Turn right onto Williams. Take second left onto Bristol Street. Take second left off Bristol onto Hempstead Street. Child and Family Administration is immediately on right. Library is across the street on left. 

From Stonington and North

I-95 South – Take Exit 84E. Exit ramp goes three ways – left (downtown New London); straight (Route 32 Norwich); and right (Williams Street, State Pier, Hodges Square). Stay to the right. At the stop sign continue straight to traffic light. Take the second left after traffic light, which is Bristol Street. Take second left off Bristol onto Hempstead Street. Child and Family Administration  is immediately on right. Library is across the street on left.

From Norwich

Route 32. You will pass Connecticut College on the right. There is a sign for New Haven & I-95. Take this right hand exit. Do not follow downtown New London sign! At stop sign, turn right onto Gallows Lane. You will come to another stop sign, turn right onto Williams Street. Go straight through two traffic lights. Then take second left, Bristol Street. Follow directions above.

From Route 395

Route 35 joins with I-95. Make sure you follow signs to Providence, I-95 North. Then follow directions from New Haven and South above.

From Hartford Area

Take Route 2 to Colchester, where it splits (left lane goes to Norwich). Take right lane to New London. Follow to end. At end, turn left, drive to stop light and go right. This is Salem, Route 85. Continue straight, 20 minutes; 25 miles or so. In New London you will pass Dunkin Donuts on your left. Go straight through next traffic light. You will see a big church with steeple on left at next light. Turn left onto Hempstead Street. Proceed to end (dead end street). Child and Family Administration is on the right. Library is across the street on the left.
