| According to the notes on the back of the photograph, this boy had run away from his home in Willimantic to Ocean Beach where a police officer picked him up and took him to the City Mission (today's B.P. Learned Mission). There he was given a warm meal, new clothes and his parents were called. They arranged for somebody to come and pick him up. Has this story been passed down through your family?
